Melonex for Women: What the Label Says, and What It Does Not
The Melonex label has no separate directions for women. It gives one adult serving of one capsule daily and asks pregnant or nursing mothers to see a physician first. No source we read tested this capsule in women, so any claim of a special benefit for women has nothing behind it.

Does the Melonex label address women?
No. The directions, the 60-capsule bottle and the cautions are the same for every adult.
Directions
One capsule daily with 8 oz of water, up to two. Nothing changes by sex.
Caution
Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known condition should ask a physician.
Claims
The front says "Heart Support*" and "Circulation Support*" with a star that leads to the FDA statement.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Wait and ask. The label itself asks pregnant and nursing mothers to consult a physician, and a clinic reference on arginine advises against it in both settings 1.
Supplements do not need FDA approval before sale, so the agency has not reviewed this one for pregnancy 2. If you are trying to conceive, plan to nurse or are unsure, bring the bottle to your clinician. There is a separate who it is for page with a fuller list.
What do studies say about women and these ingredients?
Little that is specific. The trials we read pooled adults, and the Melonex capsule itself has not been tested.
| Source | Who was studied | Product tested |
|---|---|---|
| Arginine pooled trials | Adults, results not split here by sex | L-arginine alone, in grams |
| Citrulline trials in older adults | Middle-aged and older adults | Citrulline or watermelon |
| AAKG sports study | Men aged 30 to 50 | AAKG at 4 g doses |
| Melonex capsule | Not published | No trial found |
Notice the last row. A woman reading a marketing page cannot assume a result that no one measured.

See packsHow would a day with one capsule look?
Simple. One capsule with a full glass of water, at the time you will remember.
- About 7:00, with breakfast time
One capsule with an 8 oz glass of water, as the label says. Prescribed medicine keeps its own schedule; never cut back or quit on your own (AHA).
- Morning and evening: a reading
Home monitoring: an automatic, validated upper-arm cuff, five minutes of rest, two readings a minute apart at the same time each day, and a log (AHA).
- A walk after a meal
Adults are advised 2.5 hours of moderate activity a week, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity (AHA Life's Essential 8).
- Dinner and night: sodium and sleep
The DASH plan sets 2,300 mg of sodium a day, or 1,500 mg if desired (NHLBI), and AHA says most adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep.
Points from AHA 3, 4, 5 and 6. The time for the capsule is a suggestion; follow your label.
Some people use the dial to pair the capsule with a daily habit. If you also take iron, calcium or other pills, ask a pharmacist about timing, since the label does not say.
What should you ask before you buy?
Ask your clinician about your medicines, your health history and any plans for pregnancy.
- Do I take any blood pressure medicine or nitrate?
- Is this safe while I am pregnant, nursing or planning to be?
- Which amounts of each ingredient would I need to see on a label?
Keep taking prescribed medicine, whatever you decide. The side effects page lists what to watch for. If the answers satisfy you, the bottles are below.
