Melonex GMP: What Good Manufacturing Practice Means and What Proves It
GMP stands for good manufacturing practice, a set of FDA rules for how supplements are made. The Melonex label mentions an FDA registered facility, but we found no GMP certificate, audit or lab report for it. A GMP badge on a page is not proof.

What is GMP for a supplement?
GMP means the maker follows written rules for identity, purity, quality, strength and composition. For supplements in the U.S. it is a legal duty, not an extra.
FDA says facilities that make, pack or hold supplements must follow current good manufacturing practices meant to ensure those five things 1. So every legal maker is supposed to be GMP-compliant. The question is whether you can see evidence of it.
The Melonex label says only that it is made in an FDA registered facility. It does not use the letters GMP, and it does not name the site. When a sales page adds a badge with those letters, treat it as a design element until a document backs it.
What counts as proof?
Documents with a name, a date and a body behind them count. A logo does not.
| Evidence | Strength | Found for Melonex? |
|---|---|---|
| "GMP" badge on a page | Weak; anyone can add it | Brand badges only |
| Facility name and registration | Moderate | Facility not named |
| Lot-matched lab report | Good | A reference is listed, no report seen |
| Voluntary third-party verification | Strong | None found |
FDA warns that seals do not guarantee a product is safe or effective 2.
How would you check a lot for yourself?
Follow the lot from the bottle to a document.
Find the lot
Read it on the bottle or box.
Ask for the report
Email or call the order desk and request the certificate for that lot.
Match the numbers
The lot and the product name must match exactly.
Look at who signed
Is it an independent lab with a name and a date?
The seller lists a lot and a certificate reference. We treat those as the seller's own references. Our batch check page has the contact details.
What would stronger proof look like?
An independent group testing the finished product against a public standard.
USP runs a voluntary verification program. It tests and audits products that makers choose to submit, against quality standards and FDA's manufacturing rules 3. We found no sign that Melonex has taken part. That does not prove a problem. It means the claim cannot be checked.

See packsDoes GMP tell you the product is right for you?
No. GMP is about how a product is made, not whether it suits your health.
Ask your pharmacist about interactions, keep taking prescribed medicine, and call 911 for chest pain or stroke signs. The testing and quality page sets out what we could and could not confirm.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
Is Melonex GMP certified?
We found no certificate. GMP is a legal requirement, and a certificate would be a separate document.
Who enforces GMP for supplements?
FDA sets the rules and can act against firms that break them.
Is a GMP logo on a website proof?
No. Anyone can place a logo, so look for a dated document tied to your lot.
What is a certificate of analysis?
A lab report for one lot. It should list the tests, the results and the lab that ran them.
