Melonex Lot Number: Reading a Lot and a Certificate Reference
The seller quotes lot M-26/ME-3540 and a certificate reference, M-3540-26-ME. Both are seller references we cannot verify. A lot number lets a maker trace one batch. It is useful only when the number on your bottle matches the number on a lab document, so photograph yours when the parcel arrives.

What lot number does Melonex quote?
The seller quotes one lot, M-26/ME-3540, and one certificate reference, M-3540-26-ME.
We print them as given. We have not seen a certificate and cannot confirm either number.
Do the two numbers match each other?
They share pieces. The same four parts appear in both, in a different order.
| Part | Lot M-26/ME-3540 | CoA M-3540-26-ME |
|---|---|---|
| M | First block | First block |
| 26 | Second block | Third block |
| ME | Third block, after the slash | Last block |
| 3540 | Last block | Second block |
| What each part means | Not published | Not published |
It is reasonable to guess that the certificate was numbered from the lot. That is our observation. It is not evidence of a test, because any seller can write a number that looks like a match.
Where do you find the lot on your bottle?
Look for a short stamped or inked code near the bottom or the neck, often beside a best-before date.
- Day the parcel arrives
Check that the safety seal is intact. Do not use the bottle if it is damaged or missing.
- Same day
Photograph the label, the seal, the lot code and the date, together with the order email.
- Before the first capsule
Compare the code with the quoted lot. A different lot is normal, since lots change. It only means the quoted number does not cover your bottle.
- If something goes wrong
Report it with the lot and product details through FDA MedWatch 1.

See packsWhat does a lot number prove?
Very little on its own. It shows a batch can be traced, not that the batch was tested or is safe.
A lot number is a label for a batch. A certificate of analysis is a lab result for that batch. You need both, and they must carry the same code.
A missing or rubbed-off lot is worth a question to the seller. So is a bottle whose label looks different from the one on the batch check page. One government study found that 20 of 47 brand-name products bought from third-party vendors on five popular sites were counterfeit 2. Buy through the order link.
What should you do with your lot number?
Keep it, send it to the order desk and ask for the lab report that carries it.
Write to the order desk using the details on the contact page, and quote both the lot and the reference. Ask that the reply name the lab and the date of the test, and keep it with your order email. If you take medicine, check with your pharmacist first and keep taking it as directed.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
Where is the Melonex lot number printed?
It should be on the bottle, usually near the base or neck. Our label image does not show it, so check your own bottle.
Can I verify M-26/ME-3540 online?
We found no public lookup. The reference is the seller's, so ask the order desk to confirm it in writing.
Is a different lot on my bottle a warning sign?
No. Lots change over time. It means the quoted certificate does not cover your lot, so ask for the one that does.
What if my bottle has no lot code?
Photograph it and write to the order desk before use. A missing code makes any batch problem hard to trace.
