Melonex Real or Fake? Four Checks for the Seal, Label, Lot and Seller
You cannot prove a bottle is genuine at home, but you can spot red flags. Check that the seal is intact, the label matches the printed facts, the lot is present and the seller is the one on the order page. A very low price from a stranger is the biggest warning sign.

How can you tell if a Melonex bottle is real?
Start with where it came from. A fake is far more likely to arrive from a seller you did not choose.
Counterfeits copy the box, not the batch records. So the first question is not "does it look right?" It is "who sold it to me, and can I reach them?" Four checks follow, in the order that does the most good.
What are the four checks?
Seller, seal, label, lot. Spend two minutes on each before you take the first capsule.
Seller
Did it come through the order link you used? The page we read lists an order desk (the number on the sales site checkout).
Seal
The label says not to use the product if the seal is damaged or missing.
Label
Compare it with the panel below, word for word.
Lot
Look for a lot code and compare it with what the seller gives you.
What should the label say?
It should match the printed panel: 60 capsules, one 500 mg blend with three names, and no amounts for each name.
Tap a number to read that part of the label.
- Serving
Serving size 1 capsule; 60 servings per container.
- Proprietary Blend 500 mg
The one line of the panel. 500 mg is the combined weight of everything in the blend.
- Three names
L-Citrulline dl-Malate, L-Arginine (Alpha-Ketoglutarate dihydrate), L-Arginine HCL, listed from most to least by weight. No amount for any of them.
- Daily Value
The dagger note: Daily Value not established.
- Other ingredients
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
The distributor line reads Instituto Experience, Lakeland, FL 33804, +1 (507) 448-8190, [email protected]. A printed amount for each ingredient would be a difference worth a call. The where to buy page lists the order route.

See packsWhich red flags matter most?
A price far below the order page is the loudest one, then a missing seal, then a seller you cannot contact.
| Flag | Why it matters | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Price far below the order page | Branded goods at odd prices are the kind marketplaces ask shoppers to report 1 | Do not buy |
| Broken or missing seal | The label itself warns against use | Stop and contact the seller |
| Facts panel differs from the label above | May be a copy or an old version | Ask the order desk |
| Third-party vendor on a big marketplace | One government study found 20 of 47 brand-name products from such vendors were counterfeit 2 | Use the order link |
That study did not look at supplements, so treat it as a caution, not a rate.
Does a lot number prove a bottle is genuine?
No. A lot number is a reference, and a copy can print one too.
The seller lists lot M-26/ME-3540 and certificate reference M-3540-26-ME. Those are seller references, not proof. The sturdier check is to call the order desk with the lot printed on your bottle and ask for the report that goes with it. The batch verification page has the steps. FDA registration of a facility does not mean approval either 3.
If you took a capsule and feel unwell, stop, tell your pharmacist and consider a report to FDA through MedWatch 4. For chest pain, call 911.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
What if my Melonex seal was already broken?
Do not use it. The label says not to use the product if the seal is damaged or missing. Contact the seller and keep the bottle.
Can I tell a fake by the capsule color?
No. Color is not reliable, and the label does not describe the capsule beyond its type.
Is a Melonex bought on a marketplace fake?
Not necessarily, but you cannot be sure who sold it. The order link is the safer route.
Where do I report a suspect bottle?
Tell the seller first. For a health problem, FDA runs the MedWatch reporting program.
