Melonex vs Any Other Supplement: How to Compare Two Labels Fairly
To compare Melonex with any other supplement, ignore the front of the bottle and read four things on the back: the amount of each ingredient, the form of each, whether anyone outside the company tested it, and what human studies exist. Melonex prints one 500 mg blend without individual amounts, so that first check is the hard one.

How do you compare two supplements fairly?
Compare numbers, not slogans. Put the two Supplement Facts panels side by side and check four things in order.
Dose
How many milligrams of each ingredient are in one serving?
Form
Which chemical form is it? Malate, hydrochloride and alpha-ketoglutarate are different forms.
Testing
Did anyone outside the company verify what is in the bottle?
Evidence
Is there a human study at this dose in this form?
We name no other brand here. The method works on any pair.
What does Melonex print for each check?
Melonex answers the form question, only part of the dose question, and leaves testing and evidence open.
| Check | On the Melonex label |
|---|---|
| Dose of each name | Not published. Only the 500 mg total is printed. |
| Form | L-Citrulline dl-Malate, L-Arginine (Alpha-Ketoglutarate dihydrate), L-Arginine HCL |
| Outside testing | No outside test result is published with the label |
| Human studies | None on the finished product that we found |
Fill the same table in for the other bottle. A blank cell on either side is the finding.
Why is the dose the hardest check for Melonex?
Because a proprietary blend lists the names in order of weight but hides each amount.
The rule behind this is 21 CFR 101.36: the blend shows one total, and the names inside follow in descending order by weight 1. For Melonex that math gives bounds, not amounts. The first name is at least 167 mg, the second at most 250 mg and the third at most 167 mg.
A Cleveland Clinic summary describes citrulline studies at 3 to 8 g a day, far above one 500 mg capsule 2. The proprietary blend page shows the gap in full.
Does a seal or a certificate settle it?
A real third-party seal helps. A claim of testing with no named lab does not.
One independent program tests finished products against quality and purity standards, and it is voluntary 4. Look for the program's name and the product on its own list, not just a logo on the bottle. Melonex shows a lot number and a certificate reference on the sales side; these are seller references, not proof.
Even a verified product only shows what is in the bottle. It does not show that the product works.

See packsShould price decide?
Compare cost per serving only after the first four checks, and only for the same dose.
Melonex runs $1.32, $1.15 or $0.82 a day at one capsule, depending on the pack. A cheaper bottle with a smaller dose is not cheaper per milligram. If the other label hides its amounts too, you cannot tell. See the pricing page for the packs.
What if both labels hide the same thing?
Then neither is a clear winner, and a short question to each seller is the next step.
Ask for amounts and a lot report. If you decide on Melonex, choose a pack you can finish.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
How do I compare Melonex to another supplement?
Read dose, form, outside testing and human evidence on both labels. Fill the same four rows for each and compare.
Is a bigger bottle count a better deal?
Only if the dose per serving matches. Compare cost per serving at equal milligrams, not per bottle.
Does a longer ingredient list mean a stronger product?
No. More names can mean smaller amounts of each. Check the milligrams, not the count.
Why does Melonex not list each amount?
It uses a proprietary blend, which lets a company print one total. Ask the seller for the breakdown.
